Kabuto Sumo by Allplay
Summary - Compete as a Brawling Beetle in a spectacular showdown presented by the World Insect Wrestling Championship.
Objective - Be the last bug standing in the grueling grappling match. Push different sized discs into the ring on your turn to force opposing wrestler playing pieces out of the ring. Add all other discs that fall out of the ring during your turn to your inventory.

Choose your champion to beat-down & knock-out enemy insects from the Sumo ring. Each battling beetle has a unique power piece that is it’s signature move. Gain this piece during the match by completing your wrestler’s specific requirement. In the Junior League rule modification, you start the match with the power piece.

Each player selects a wrestler card. Add signature pieces to the supply. (Wrestler cards dictate how to earn these).
Each player chooses a wrestler piece & places the matching color reference token in front of them. Fill the Sumo Ring with the wrestler pieces & playing discs according to the Player Count Diagram.
Set the remaining discs aside as a general supply.
Player Count: 2-4
This game can be played in a head-to-head 2 player match, a 3 player free-for-all, or a 4 player tag team match-up.
Gameplay:
Players or teams take turns pushing any piece from their inventory into the Sumo Ring using the ramp. (Teams share inventory).
Any discs that fall out of the ring during a push are add to the player or team’s inventory.
The game is won when a player knocks-out an opposing player piece or an opponent taps-out from running out of discs. In a 3 player game, the player that taps-out is eliminated & the remaining 2 competitors continue.
Technique:
Find a good angle on the ramp 1st before beginning your push.
You can approach the ring from any position with the ramp.
Slide your coin all the way into the ring in a straight line right to the edge.
Collect all coins that are knocked-out at the end of your turn.
Top Tip: Beware the edge!
Practice ‘position before submission.’ Push your wrestler playing piece near the center before targeting opponents. Staying near the edge leaves you vulnerable to getting knocked out.
